Elizabeth Bowker

ELIZABETH BOWKER is an experienced trial and appellate lawyer.  She has argued before the Supreme Court of Canada, the Ontario Court of Appeal and the New Brunswick Court of Appeal, as well as before the Ontario Divisional Court and Superior Court of Justice and multiple administrative tribunals.  She has a diverse and complex practice, including class actions, professional liability, products liability, medical malpractice, municipal liability, environmental claims, employment practices and insurance coverage.

Elizabeth is a frequent speaker at various conferences and seminars for professional organizations and insurance companies, and she currently organizes the firm’s continuing professional development and mentoring programs. She is a member of the Advocates’ Society and the Ontario Bar Association.

Elizabeth received her J.D. in 2001 and her B.A. (Hons) in History and English, both from the University of Toronto.  She previously completed an internship with the United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees and also received the A.R.A.D. diploma (ballet).
