Biography

MADELINE MACKENZIE is a devoted and passionate litigator who is committed to developing a practice focused on providing persuasive, high-quality advocacy and professional client communication. Bilingual in French and English, Madeline combines creative strategy and problem solving, with articulate and effective legal writing and presentation, to achieve the best results at each stage of the litigation process.

Madeline articled with Stieber Berlach LLP, and has assisted with matters before various courts and administrative tribunals. She has assisted with advocating for clients’ interests in all manners of action, including property damage, product liability, construction negligence, personal injury, defamation, human rights complaints, medical malpractice and other professional liability claims.

With a Bachelor’s Degree, Honours Specialization with Distinction, in Health Sciences from Western University, Madeline received her Juris Doctor from Queen’s University Faculty of Law. While in law school, Madeline gained educational and experiential knowledge as a Graduate Research Assistant, focusing her research on the duty of care and fiduciary duty in commercial contracts. She was also an executive member of the Queen’s Health Law Association and volunteered as an Orientation Leader for incoming law students. She is now a member of the Ontario Bar Association and Toronto Lawyers Association.

When not practicing law, Madeline loves to ski the mountains, sail at the cottage, and browse her local Saturday morning farmer’s market.
