Biography

LINETTE KING is an experienced advocate who uses the breadth of her experiences and perspectives to deliver comprehensive litigation solutions for her clients. Linette maintains a broad litigation practice focused on commercial disputes, tort claims, class actions, and insurance coverage matters.

Linette has appeared before Small Claims Court, Superior Court, and the Court of Appeal. She has also appeared before various administrative and regulatory tribunals.

Before joining the firm Linette worked as a litigator at a national law firm focusing on regulatory prosecution work. Linette also worked as a staff lawyer at a Toronto legal clinic practicing in tenant-side housing litigation.

Linette received her J.D. from Osgoode Hall Law School. During her time at Osgoode, Linette worked as a caseworker with the Venture Capital Clinic, a Student Mediator at Small Claims Court, and an Intake Volunteer with Osgoode’s Legal Clinic. She also served as a member of the executive team of Osgoode Women’s Network. During her 1L summer she participated in a student exchange program and completed a European Human Rights Law course in Italy.
