Biography
KAYLA SAGER is a focused and driven advocate with a tireless work ethic. She approaches every file with diligence, creativity, and determination. Kayla is building a practice involving professional liability, medical malpractice, commercial disputes, personal injury, and class action litigation.
Prior to joining as an associate, Kayla summered and articled at Stieber Berlach. During her time as a student, Kayla worked on large scale trials and gained broad experience in Small Claims Court, Superior Court, and the Court of Appeal as well as at various administrative and regulatory tribunals.
Kayla received her Juris Doctor from the University of Windsor. During her time at law school, Kayla worked as a research assistant under professors and the National Self Represented Litigants Project. Kayla was an avid mooter competing in several moots each year including but not limited to, the Jessup International Law Moot and the Winkler Class Action Moot. Kayla continues to engage with the mooting community volunteering with the Ontario Bar Association’s annual Tort Law Moot.
Kayla is a member of the Toronto Lawyers Association, and the Ontario Bar Association.
Outside of the law, Kayla is a marathon runner, photographer, and traveler.
