Dylan Horenfeldt

DYLAN HORENFELDT is a dedicated and practical advocate who brings a value-added mindset to every matter. He appreciates that each client’s circumstances and objectives are unique. His collaborative approach to advocacy begins with developing a thorough understanding of the file and is focused on achieving practical, client-centered results.

Before joining Stieber Berlach, Dylan articled at a full-service national law firm and practiced as a lawyer at both national and regional firms. He maintained an active commercial litigation practice, regularly participating in mediations, arbitrations, and trials, and advocating for clients at every stage of the litigation process.

Dylan received his Juris Doctor from Western Law, where he was awarded the Dean of Law Entrance Scholarship and the Edward C. Elwood, Q.C. Award in Wills and Trusts. During law school, Dylan was an active member of the student community. He is particularly proud of his volunteer work with Pro Bono Students Canada’s Project Consent initiative.

Before attending law school, Dylan studied Health Sciences at the University of Ottawa. He was admitted early to Western Law after completing his third year of undergraduate studies. His background in health sciences provides him with a valuable perspective when analyzing complex matters and working with clients.

Outside the office, Dylan enjoys exploring Toronto’s restaurant scene, travelling, spending time outdoors, and walking his dog, Chauncey.
