Alexa Jarvis

ALEXA JARVIS is a skilled litigator with extensive experience in trial and appellate advocacy. She has appeared before all levels of court in Ontario as well as several administrative tribunals, including the College of Physicians and Surgeons, and has successfully represented medical professionals in a number of complex proceedings, including a lengthy jury trial and one of the first common issues class action trials to proceed in Ontario. She has also argued numerous complex motions and appeals on behalf of commercial clients.

Alexa’s practice spans a broad range areas, including sexual abuse litigation, institutional liability, Indigenous law, complex class actions, medical malpractice, and professional liability. She is known for her calm and compassionate approach, sharp analytical skills, and practical, results-oriented advocacy. Her priority is always to achieve the best possible outcome for her clients in an efficient and thoughtful way.

Before joining Stieber Berlach, Alexa practiced for several years at an elite commercial litigation firm in Toronto. She earned her law degree from Dalhousie University, where she received numerous academic awards, including highest standing in Contract Law and Business Associations, as well as the Blakes Scholarship for academic excellence across all subjects. She is a member of the Advocates’ Society and the Ontario Bar Association.
