• Owen v. The Royal Canadian Yacht Club, 2022 HRTO 259 (CanLII)
  Successfully acted for The Royal Canadian Yacht Club in a human rights application, dismissing the application as an abuse of process.
• Braks v. Dundeal, 2021 ONSC 3891 (CanLII)
  Successfully compelled the in-person rather than virtual assessment of the plaintiff by defence medical experts, as per terms established by the defendants, including location of such assessments. The defence medicals were essential to proceed to trial.
• Ip et al. v. Olokun et al., 2019 ONSC 5265 (CanLII)
  Successfully brought a Summary Judgement Motion against plaintiff’s insurer on the basis that client had not consented to vehicle use by uninsured tortfeasor, making that insurer responsible pursuant to uninsured/underinsured motorist coverage. On preliminary motion, successfully resisted production of complete insurer file to co-defendant. Court ordered the client’s costs in defending the action be paid by that insurer.
• Gauthier v. Dollarama Inc. [2018] O.J. No.3677
  Successfully brought a motion on behalf of the defendant to order that the plaintiff undergo a carotid ultrasound as requested by the defence neurologist, necessary to opine on the issue of causation of the claimed stroke. Costs awarded in favor of the defendant.
• 2129152 Ontario Inc. v. Aviva Insurance Company of Canada, 2017 ONSC 4713 (CanLII)
  Successfully dismissed a Summary Judgement Motion brought against defendant/insurer by the plaintiff/insured in a significant fire loss claim seeking to enforce an indemnity under a commercial property insurance policy issued to it by the defendant. Decision has been selected to be included in Thomson Reuters’ Canadian Cases on The Law of Insurance, as it was considered it an important case in Insurance Law.
• Couture v TSCC No. 2187, 2015 ONSC 7596 (CanLII)
  Application arising out of a conflict between a unit owner and Corp seeking significant damages and getting nominal damages almost at the offer extended by the respondent/client. Hence, no costs were awarded.  This case is important in the context of condominium law and is relied upon in such cases. This case has been discussed in various publications, including Condovice Magazine, Award-Winning Publication of the Canadian Condominium Institute, Volume 21, Issue Number 3, Spring 2016, Specific Legal Issues.
• Scott Wigmore v. Anita Myler, 2014
  Co-counsel counsel in a four-week jury trial with a favourable verdict for the clients.
• Hough v. Amer Sports Canada Inc. [2012] O.J. No. 3543
  Argued the motion in this complex product liability claim involving serious injuries suffered by the plaintiff while skiing and sought the inspection and testing of the ski binding:  Hough v. Amer Sports Canada Inc. [2011] O.J. No. 6720.  Prepared the appeal materials, which was successful and allowed the inspection and testing of the ski binding followed by the release of the client from the action.

• Acts for individuals, commercial companies, and other entities in multiparty motor vehicle personal injury claims, including fatalities, serious and catastrophic injuries, with complex liability issues.
• Acts for general contractors, project managers, and other entitles in multiparty litigation in significant fire losses and floods involving allegations of breach of contract, negligent construction, supervision, and management.
• Acts for condominium corporations, property managers, employers and other entitles against various allegations of negligence and defamation as well as in applications before the Human Rights Tribunal of Ontario.
• Acts for roadway contractors in municipal liability and personal injury actions, including fatalities and catastrophic injuries, allegedly as a result of roadway construction and design.
• Acts for manufacturers and distributors in product liability cases.
• Acts for insurance brokers in actions alleging professional negligence in the provision of broker services.
• Acts for contractors to successfully transfer risk by resolving duty to defend applications.
• Acts for various construction contractors and maintenance contractors in bodily injury claims.
