ROVENA HAJDËRI practices a variety of insurance law, from personal injury and occupiers’ liability to product liability and property damage claims. She also practices in the area of condominium law, wrongful dismissal litigation, and human rights applications. Rovena handles all aspects of civil litigation from drafting pleadings through trial, and is skilled at alternative dispute resolution and client-focused communications.
Rovena is fluent in French and Italian and has worked in many capacities with national and international organizations, including the Organization for Security and Cooperation in Europe and the United Nations. She has also studied in Austria, Italy, and The Netherlands. Prior to joining the firm, Rovena practiced law for several years at a well-respected Toronto insurance defence boutique.
Rovena completed her Bachelor of Law degree at the University of Tirana before studying at Queen’s University in Kingston, Ontario for her Bachelor of Law degree equivalent. She also has an LL.M. from Queen’s with an emphasis on administrative law. Rovena was called to the Ontario Bar in 2008, after articling with the National Judicial Institute in Ottawa.
Rovena is a member of The Advocates’ Society and serves as an advisor to the Ryerson University LLP Trial Advocacy Program.
