ASHLEY GOREN-GIBSON articled with Stieber Berlach and her practice focuses on medical malpractice and professional liability.
Ashley has worked on cases in areas such as media law, criminal law, gene patenting, data mining, occupiers’ liability, municipal liability, personal injury, and human rights. She has participated in cases before various courts, including the United States Supreme Court and the Supreme Court of Canada.
Ashley was admitted to the New York State Bar in 2012 and the Ontario Bar in 2014. After moving to Ontario, she studied at the University of Toronto, where she was awarded a fellowship with the Canadian Institute for Health Research and the Centre for Law and Innovation while completing her LLM. She also worked in the legal services department of the Centre for Addiction and Mental Health. Ashley has published articles on issues of health law, intellectual property, and human rights.
Ashley received a Bachelor of Arts degree, with distinction, from McGill University in 2008. She obtained a Juris Doctor degree from American University in Washington, DC, in 2011, and graduated with honours.
