Grant Ferguson
GRANT FERGUSON specializes in professional liability, including medical malpractice and College disciplinary matters, municipal and corporate liability, personal injury, and human rights litigation.
Grant has represented numerous clients before the registered professional colleges of Ontario in all levels of investigation, including competency and disciplinary matters. Grant has also appeared frequently before the Human Rights Tribunal of Ontario and previously before the Human Rights Commission in defence of allegations of breach of the Human Rights Code. Grant is also actively involved in providing insurance coverage opinions and has successfully represented insurers in complex matters of coverage determination.
Grant has participated in cases at all levels of Court in Ontario and has represented clients throughout the province. His civil practice is active in the Superior Court of Ontario and involves diverse cases of municipal and corporate defence.
Grant obtained an undergraduate specialist honours degree in Pharmacology from the University of Toronto (with high distinction) and has experience in nursing. Grant is a published author of scientific studies and uses his medical-science background where possible throughout his legal practice.
Grant obtained his Juris Doctor degree from the University of Toronto in 2004.
